ORTworks: Modernizing Jewish Labor in the Early 20th Century
A Traveling Exhibit
A photography exhibit documenting the vanished world of Eastern European Jews -- beekeepers, seamstresses, blacksmiths, tobacco farmers and other workers trained by ORT from the 1920s to the 1940s. Created and circulated by New York City's Museum of Jewish Heritage. ORTworks has appeared in Cleveland, San Francisco, Houston and Miami.
