Young Leadership
The Young Leadership Development Department prepares the new generation (age 25-45) of leaders of Women's American ORT.

Special Events
From the ORT Corral event at last summer's Annual Meeting in Houston to a San Francisco High Tea to New Jersey's "Evening of Good Taste," Young Leadership events across the country are creating support for ORT.

Members of Young Leadership have the opportunity to network with other young leaders on local, national and international issues affecting women, Jewish life, education and Israel.

Leadership Opportunities

The President's Young Leadership Council (PYLC) is a select group of 12-15 young women who receive leadership training in fund raising, team-building, special event planning and marketing. They also meet with top leaders of WAO and the Jewish communal world.
The Young Leadership Gift Development Team will be the next generation of WAO's major gift solicitors trained in major gift solicitation.

Missions
See highlights from The June 2000 Young Leadership Mission to Israel. They saw ORT in action as they visited ORT schools along with historic and cultural sites in Israel.
