Regional Director Dynamic, creative individual is needed to develop, implement and promote fund-raising, membership and special events in the Detroit area. Manage local office. Min. 3-5 yrs professional fund-raising/special events experience and background as liaison to volunteer leadership needed. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and computer literacy a must. Positions report to National Director of Field Development in Atlanta.
Outgoing individuals needed to oversee thrift and consignment stores. We operate stores in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. We currently have openings in several stores. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, merchandising, and development of sales and marketing programs. Retail management experience required, especially in a multi-unit environment. Consignment or thrift shop experience is helpful. An ability to coordinate and work with local organization volunteer leadership is necessary. Positions will report to National Director of Retail Operations in NYC.
Strong leader needed to oversee and consolidate the operation of resale and consignment stores in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Responsibilities include advertising, marketing, staffing, creation of operating policies and procedures, goal setting for sales and productivity, and coordinating physical plant issues with Chief Operating Officer. Work with local lay leaders and store managers on a regular basis. Significant travel is required. Chain-store managerial experience in a retail setting is mandatory. Experience should include advertising, buying, employee supervision, budgeting and financial reporting. Exposure to state consumer laws and building code issues helpful. Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must.
