ORT is most famous for its 120-year history of providing vocational education throughout the world. But there are so many other reasons why this organization is such a success. Here are a few examples of projects that reach far beyond technology training.


The Sunflowers Project: Using computers, software, and training provided by ORT, students bring the Internet to young cancer patients.


The St. Petersburg and Kiev Mezuzot Project: A Mezuzah will be affixed to each classroom doorpost in these ORT schools - a Jewish tradition long denied under Soviet rule.
